RAMALLAH, December 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, stated, "We reaffirm our full support for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia."

He added that Palestine rejects the declaration of mutual recognition between Israel and the Somaliland region, as it legitimizes unilateral separatist actions that violate international law."
