RAMALLAH, December 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Pope Leo XIV condemned the dire humanitarian situation facing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during his Christmas address.
The Pope highlighted the suffering of civilians in Gaza, particularly amid harsh weather conditions.
"How can we not think of the tents in Gaza, which have been exposed for weeks to the rain, wind, and cold?" said Leo XIV, the first American pope, referring to the worsening humanitarian crisis and the ongoing suffering of the population.
