RAMALLAH, December 5, 2025 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas received an invitation today to attend the Christmas Eve mass for the Eastern Orthodox Church, from Theophilos III, the Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine and Jordan.
The invitation was presented in the presence of the Chairman of the Presidential Committee for Church Affairs, Ramzi Khoury, and the Chief Justice of Palestine, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, at the Palestinian Presidency headquarters in Ramallah.
President Abbas extended his warmest greetings to the Palestinian people, particularly the Christian communities that follow the Eastern Christian calendar, on the occasion of the blessed holidays.
He expressed his hope that this holiday season would bring freedom and justice to the Palestinian people, with the end of the occupation and the realization of Palestinian independence, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
