RAMALLAH, December 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, held a meeting on Monday with representatives of the E4 countries to discuss the political entitlements of the upcoming stage.

The meeting was attended by British Consul General Helen Winterton, French Consul General Nicolas Kassianides, Italian Consul General Domenico Bellato, and German Chargé d'Affaires to the Palestinian Authority, Ulrike Bormann.

The meeting was also attended by Fatah Central Committee member Nabil Abu Rudeineh, and Advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas for Diplomatic Affairs, Majdi Al-Khalidi

During the meeting, al-Sheikh underscored several political issues, welcoming US President Donald Trump’s plan and the Security Council resolution, and stressing the need to oblige Israel to halt its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

He also underscored the urgent need for the immediate entry of aid into the Gaza Strip with the onset of winter, the release of all withheld funds, an end to colonists’ terrorism, the removal of checkpoints that fragment the West Bank, and an end to the continued raids on West Bank governorates.

The Vice President further stressed the need to reaffirm the geographic linkage between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as a fundamental element of any fair political solution that ensures the contiguity of Palestinian land.
