Palestinian Presidency warns of escalating colonist “terror attacks” in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, November 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh warned of the dangerous escalation of what he described as posed terrorist and brutal attacks carried out by colonists against Palestinians in the West Bank, including the burning of homes and the destruction of property.

He held the occupying government fully responsible for halting these escalating attacks, which are perpetrated with the support and protection of the occupation army.

Abu Rudeineh said the continuation of colonist attacks, alongside Israeli's ongoing seizure of Palestinian land, most recently in the historic city of Sebastia, constitutes a blatant challenge to the efforts of the international community, particularly those of US President Donald Trump, and his endeavors to solidify the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and initiate a political process that achieves security and stability for all.”

He called on the U.S administration to intervene immediately and decisively to stop Israeli disregard for the rights of the Palestinian people and to cease providing support and protection to colonists who launch terrorist attacks against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.

Abu Rudeineh emphasized That the time has come to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy and to embody the independence of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, as this is the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, and the success of any project or plan will only be through commitment to international legitimacy and Palestinian rights.
