RAMALLAH, November 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Deputy President of the State of Palestine and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein al-Sheikh, laid a wreath today at the Mausoleum of the late leader Yasser Arafat at the Presidential Headquarters in Ramallah, on the 21st anniversary of his passing, on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas.
On November 11, 2004, Arafat died at a French hospital where he was flown to after suffering from a sudden illness following a tight and brutal Israeli military siege of the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
