RAMALLAH, November 5, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received an official letter from Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, addressing the Kingdom's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
In his message, the Crown Prince expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's full solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people in light of their suffering due to the ongoing escalation and economic pressures.
He also affirmed the Kingdom's steadfast position on the Palestinian cause and its continued support for the Palestinian people in their pursuit of their legitimate rights to establish their independent state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
He further noted that the Kingdom will continue to support the Palestinian National Authority and enable it to fulfill its responsibilities, and will exert efforts to mobilize international support to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, ensure the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, lift the financial blockade, and release the withheld Palestinian tax revenues.
The Crown Prince noted that the Kingdom, in coordination with its international partners, is working to ensure the success of political efforts aimed at resolving the Palestinian issue peacefully.
He recalled the Kingdom's leading role in the high-level international conference on the two-state solution, which it co-chaired with the French Republic. This conference witnessed an increasing number of countries announcing their intention to recognize the State of Palestine, a step he described as "historic," reflecting the growing international support for the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Crown Prince concluded his message by expressing his hope that these efforts will contribute to the implementation of the two-state solution, achieving security and stability for the State of Palestine and the region.
He also extended his wishes to President Abbas and expressed hope for peace and prosperity for the Palestinian people.
