RAMALLAH, November 1, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday congratulated Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the 71st anniversary of Algeria’s revolution.
In a congratulatory message, President Abbas extended his best wishes to President Tebboune for continued health, well-being, and success, and to the Algerian people for further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
The President expressed deep appreciation for Algeria’s steadfast and honorable positions in support of the Palestinian cause and people in all international forums, particularly at the UN Security Council, amid the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, as well as the continued settlement expansion and attacks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
President Abbas also reaffirmed the strong historic ties of brotherhood between the Palestinian and Algerian peoples and expressed his desire to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in a way that serves their common interests and aspirations.
