RAMALLAH, October 26, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today received an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to attend the inauguration of the new Egyptian Museum.
The invitation was delivered at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah by Egypt’s Ambassador to Palestine, Ihab Suleiman.
President Abbas welcomed President Sisi’s invitation and affirmed his commitment to attending the important event, sharing with the Egyptian people their pride in this historic achievement that reflects Egypt’s rich civilization.
He conveyed his deep appreciation and greetings to President Sisi, thanking Egypt for its major role in securing the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, halting the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, preventing forced displacement, and supporting the steadfastness of Palestinians in their homeland.
President Abbas also praised President Sisi’s leadership in advancing Egypt’s development across all sectors and enhancing the country’s distinguished global standing.
