RAMALLAH, October 1, 2025 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas valued the statements made by the State of Qatar in support of Palestinian rights, ending the war, halting annexation, and preventing displacement.

The President praised the efforts of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in support of the Palestinian people and their just rights.

President Abbas commended the statements made by Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in which he welcomed the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump to stop the war in Gaza, rejected the annexation of the West Bank, affirmed that Qatar’s priority is to end the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, halt killings, displacement, and famine, and stressed that Arab and Islamic countries are exerting major efforts to support the Palestinians, enable them to remain on their land, and achieve the two-state solution.

The President emphasized that these statements reflect and align with the Palestinian position, as well as with the stance of all countries striving to end the war and establish peace in the region and the world.
