RAMALLAH, October 1, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas praised the statements issued by the United Arab Emirates in support of Palestinian rights, ending the war, halting annexation, and preventing displacement.

The President commended the efforts of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in support of the Palestinian people and their just rights.

President Abbas also welcomed the statements made by UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, in which he expressed his country’s support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip and affirmed its rejection of the annexation of the West Bank.

The President emphasized that these statements reflect and align with the Palestinian position, as well as with the stance of all countries striving to end the war and establish peace in the region and the world.
