RAMALLAH, October 1, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas praised the statements issued by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in support of Palestinian rights, ending the war, halting annexation, and preventing displacement.

The President commended the positions of King Abdullah II of Jordan in support of the Palestinian people and their just rights.

President Abbas also welcomed the statements made by Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, in which he expressed his country’s support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to stop the war and reaffirmed its rejection of the annexation of the West Bank.

President Abbas stressed the need for concerted efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza, end famine, and launch a genuine effort to achieve a just peace based on the two-state solution, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The President further emphasized that these statements reflect and align with the Palestinian position, as well as with the stance of all countries striving to end the war and establish peace in the region and the world.
