RAMALLAH, September 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas extended on Tuesday his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the 95th Saudi National Day.
In a message of congratulations, President Abbas praised the theme of the 95th Saudi National Day, "Our Pride is in Our Nature," which he said embodies the authenticity of Saudi society and the people's pride in their nation, values, deep-rooted traditions, and cultural identity under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030.
He noted that the occasion comes as Saudi Arabia, thanks to the wisdom of its leadership and the determination of its people, continues to achieve remarkable success and enjoy a leading and influential role regionally and globally.
The President also renewed his thanks and appreciation for the Kingdom's efforts and its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their cause.
He highlighted its recent leadership in international efforts to convene the International Peace Conference in New York and to secure further international recognition of the State of Palestine, which he said affirms the strength of their cherished historical ties.
Abbas also congratulated the King on the eleventh anniversary of his ascension to the throne, praying for his continued health and happiness, as well as for the lasting progress and prosperity of the Kingdom and its people under his wise and courageous leadership.
In a separate message, President Abbas extended his congratulations to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the 95th Saudi National Day.
He reiterated that as Saudi Arabia marks this occasion, it has come to enjoy a prominent and significant regional and global role, thanks to the wisdom of its leadership and the perseverance of its people.
The President also thanked the Kingdom for its efforts and support for the Palestinian people and their cause, which recently included leading international efforts to hold the International Peace Conference in New York and to garner more international recognition for the State of Palestine, confirming the strong and deep-rooted historical relationship between the two nations.
He wished the Crown Prince good health, happiness, and continued success, and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, under the leadership of King Salman, lasting progress, prosperity, and well-being.
