DOHA, September 15, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas met on Monday with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, on the sidelines of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit convened to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.
President Abbas briefed President Rahmon on the latest developments regarding the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, and stressed the urgent need to immediately halt the genocidal war being waged against the Palestinian people.
They also discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in a manner that reflects the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood between the two countries and their peoples.
