DOHA, September 15, 2025, WAFA – President Mahmoud Abbas met on Monday with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the sidelines of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, convened to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.
President Abbas briefed President Erdoğan on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and the continued engagement with all parties aimed at securing an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and enabling the entry of humanitarian aid.
The President also affirmed his commitment to further developing and strengthening the historic bilateral relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, based on brotherhood and cooperation.
