DOHA, September 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Doha, the Qatari capital, on Sunday evening, to participate in the emergency Arab-Islamic summit tomorrow to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.

The President was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

President Abbas is accompanied by Vice President of the State of Palestine, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh; Head of the PLO International Relations Department, Ziad Abu Amr; Advisor to the President for Diplomatic Affairs, Majdi al-Khalidi; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Aghabekian Shahin; Chief Islamic Justice of Palestine, Advisor to the President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, Mahmoud al-Habbash; and Palestinian Ambassador to Qatar, Fayez Abu al-Rub.
