Israeli airstrikes kill several Palestinians, including child, in Khan Younis and northern Gaza

GAZA, May 10, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli airstrikes continued targeting the Gaza Strip on Saturday, claiming the lives of several Palestinians, including a child, and injuring others, many of whom were women and children, according to local sources.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, Israeli warplanes targeted a charity kitchen in the Joura Al-Lout neighborhood, killing Ahed Talal Al-Masri and injuring several others. The strike caused severe damage and panic among residents.

A Palestinian woman, identified as Rada Mahmoud Muammar, also succumbed to wounds sustained in a drone strike on Friday at the Martaja intersection in southern Khan Younis. The same attack had previously killed two others.

Meanwhile, in the northern town of Beit Lahia, young girl Layan Ibrahim Rayan died from injuries she sustained two days ago when Israeli warplanes bombed her family’s home near Tel Al-Rabee School. The same strike killed her father and sister.

Simultaneously, a Palestinian was killed as Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building in Gaza City. WAFA correspondent reported that the airstrike targeted a charitable kitchen operating on the rooftop of a home in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, resulting in the killing of one individual and injuries to others.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 52,760 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 119,264 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
