NABLUS, May 3, 2025 (WAFA) — The Israeli occupation army on Saturday seized equipment and machinery which was used to rehabilitate and pave a road connecting the villages of Asira al-Qibliya and Immatin, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed Asira al-Qibliya, briefly detained several workers and supervisors involved in the road construction project, and then confiscated the machinery, transferring it to the Israeli military base in Huwwara.
The roadwork project was part of a local development initiative to improve infrastructure and connectivity between rural communities, which are frequently targeted by Israeli restrictions and settler attacks.
