Israeli forces conduct multiple raids across West Bank

NABLUS, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank governorates of Nablus and Bethlehem, according to local sources and WAFA correspondent.

They said that the occupation forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, triggering confrontations.

The gun-toting soldiers fired barrages of live ammunition as well as tear gas and concussion bombs.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces barged their way into the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and fired volleys of concussion and tear gas bombs.

There was no immediate information on any casualties.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
