RAMALLAH, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces delivered a stop-work notice on Wednesday at the Burqa Park, which is being built in the Masoudiya archaeological area northwest of Nablus.
The head of Burqa Village Council, Ziad Abu Omar, told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed the site and delivered a stop-work notice on the park, claiming it is located in Area C.
He pointed out that the park is funded by the Palestinian Union of Local Authorities at a cost of 130,000 shekels, and that work on its preparation began ten days ago with the aim of providing recreation for the area's residents and making it a recreational area for families, amidst the siege.
