Israeli forces demolish Palestinian house west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, April 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian house in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, on Tuesday.

Ghassan Alian and Omar Al-Qaisi, activists fighting the wall and settlements, told WAFA that the occupation forces demolished a 100-square-meter house built of iron and galvanized sheet metal in the Al-Khamar area, southeast of Bethlehem. The house was built without a permit, although the owner had previously been notified of the demolition.

It should be noted that the Al-Khamar area has been under attack for some time by colonists who have established a colonial outpost under the protection of the occupation forces. They have also installed mobile homes, built infrastructure, and paved colonial roads.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces demolished two homes, five shacks, and a water well in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities carried out 58 demolition operations in March, targeting 87 structures. These included 39 inhabited homes, six uninhabited ones, and 26 agricultural and other structures.
