RAMALLAH, April 27, 2025 (WAFA) -- Israeli occupation forces intensified military restrictions on Sunday in the northern West Bank, causing major disruptions to the movement of Palestinian residents in both the Jordan Valley region and the Qalqilia province.
In the Jordan Valley, Israeli forces tightened their restrictions at the Hamra checkpoint, severely impeding traffic flow into the area. The restrictions led to a significant traffic jam, causing delays.
Meanwhile, in the city of Qalqilia, Israeli forces set up temporary military checkpoints at the southern entrance to the city near Hableh town, and at the eastern entrance to the city.
Eyewitnesses said that soldiers stopped vehicles, checked passengers' IDs, and detained cars for extended periods.
