GAZA, April 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Ten Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday evening in Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in central Gaza, according to local sources and medical officials.
WAFA correspondents reported that five people were killed and others injured when Israeli forces bombed a group of civilians near the Shomer factory, located north of Al-Maghazi refugee camp.
In a separate attack, a Palestinian, identified as Abd al-Rahman Abu Kmeil l, was killed following an Israeli strike in the Al-Zahraa area, northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp. His body was transferred to Al-Awda Hospital.
Four more Palestinians were killed and others wounded in drone strikes carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Zawaida, also in the central Gaza region.
Medical sources confirmed that the total number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since the early morning of Saturday has risen to 36.
Earlier in the day, five people were killed and several others wounded in two separate strikes launched by Israeli warplanes and artillery in Deir el-Balah and the Nuseirat refugee camp.
One of the airstrikes targeted a café in Deir el-Balah, resulting in the killing of four civilians and injuring others. Another artillery strike on a gathering of civilians northwest of Nuseirat led to the killing of one person, with several others transported to Al-Awda Hospital.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 51,495 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 117,524 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
