GAZA, April 19, 2025 (WAFA) – At least five Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces launched airstrikes and drone attacks on multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including Rafah, Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah, and Beit Hanoun.
According to local sources, an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians in the town of Al-Nasr, northeast of Rafah, killing a Palestinian man, who was identified as Ayman Shaat.
In a separate incident, another Israeli drone strike hit an animal-dragged cart in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of one Palestinian and the injury of others.
Two more Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli forces targeted civilians on Al-Salam Mills Street, east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Additionally, an Israeli drone strike on a group of civilians in the town of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, led to the murder of one person and the injury of several others.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 51,157 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 116,724 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
