GAZA, April 18, 2025 (WAFA) — Four Palestinians, including two children, were killed and several others injured on Friday evening as Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, located northeast of Gaza City.
According to WAFA correspondent, the airstrike targeted a residential area, killing four members of the Al-Saksak family. The victims included two children, while other civilians sustained various injuries in the attack.
In a related development, Israeli warplanes also launched an air raid on the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward areas northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 51,065 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 116,505 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
