22 Palestinians killed in a series of Israeli attacks on Gaza overnight

GAZA, April 18, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 22 Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were killed overnight Thursday-Friday in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting residential homes in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that an Israeli drone strike hit a home in Tel Al-Zaatar neighborhood in northern Gaza, killing 11 civilians, among them two children and a woman, and injuring several others.

In a separate attack in the south, 10 more Palestinians were killed when an Israeli warplane bombed the home of the Baraka family in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis. The victims were taken to the Gaza European Hospital.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces reportedly demolished residential buildings in eastern Gaza City, as military attacks across the enclave continued to intensify.

Earlier last night, a Palestinian was killed and several others were injured following an Israeli airstrike on a residential home in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the strike targeted a home near the Al-I'tisam Stadium in Khan Younis, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of others.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 51,065 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 116,505 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
