GAZA, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli airstrikes and gunfire killed several Palestinians and injured dozens more across different parts of the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening, as the ongoing Israeli genocidal onslaught on the territory continued unabated.
WAFA correspondent reported that four civilians were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a residential home on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia town, north of the Gaza Strip.
In a separate incident, a Palestinian young man, Haitham Nabil Jundieh, was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Additionally, several Palestinians were killed and dozens injured—some critically—following an Israeli strike on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, another Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Qizan Raswan area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 51,065 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 116,505 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
