Palestinian sustains injury from Israeli army gunfire near Nablus

NABLUS, April 11, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Friday sustained an injury from Israeli army gunfire in the Beita town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical sources.

They said that medical crews provided first aid treatment to a 23-year-old man who was injured in the foot by Israeli occupation forces in the course of confrontations in the town.

The confrontations erupted when the occupation forces stormed the town, simultaneously while firing intensive gunfire.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
