JORDAN VALLEY, April 9, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished a water tank in Al-Deir in the northern Jordan Valley on Wednesday.
Omar Fuqaha, head of the Ein al-Baida village council, told WAFA that the occupation forces demolished the 10,000 cubic meter water tank, which served farmers in the area, under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Al-Deir is known for its irrigated agriculture. Over the past two years, the occupation forces have destroyed several water pumps and demolished solar panels used to operate them.
Colonists have also stolen agricultural equipment and damaged irrigation networks for irrigated crops in the area.
