Israeli forces order entire family out of their house near Nablus

NABLUS, April 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening ordered an entire Palestinian family out of their house in Khallet al-Amud area, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces barged their way into the area, broke into a house, and ordered the entire family to leave it at gunpoint.

This was the fourth time for the occupying forces to raid the city of Nablus on Monday. In the course of the previous raids, the gun-toting soldiers rounded up four civilians, including one after shooting him with live gunfire, and showered two houses on Shweitra Street with tear gas canisters, setting them on fire.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
