Israeli occupation forces forcefully displace residents in Nour Shams refugee camp

TULKARM, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces forced several residents of the Jabal al-Salihin area in the Nour Shams refugee camp, located east of Tulkarm, to leave their homes on Sunday evening.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained a young man after assaulting him near the entrance to the Al-Manshieh neighborhood in the camp. His current whereabouts remain unknown. Additionally, several other young men were held at the same location, where they were forced to sit on the ground under threat of weapons and ill-treatment. Their identities have not been confirmed.

The Nour Shams camp has been enduring continuous Israeli aggression and a tight siege for the past 57 days, leading to severe damage to infrastructure and private property.

Israeli forces have been conducting regular raids and house searches, particularly in the Al-Nasr and Al-Salihin neighborhoods, converting some of the homes into military barracks after forcibly expelling the families.
