JERSALEM, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Anata, northeast of Jerusalem, on Sunday afternoon and began distributing dozens of demolition notices, threatening to demolish residential, agricultural, and commercial facilities in several neighborhoods.
Mohammad al-Kiswani, Deputy Mayor of Anata for the Jerusalem Governorate, explained in a press release that the process of distributing the notices is still ongoing, and it is not yet possible to accurately count their number, especially in light of the occupation forces' imposition of a strict siege, similar to a curfew, as they have set up checkpoints and prevented citizens from moving between the neighborhoods they have raided.
He pointed out that the number of notices is extremely large, foreshadowing a large-scale demolition massacre affecting homes and commercial establishments.
