GAZA, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) — Two Palestinians were killed and several others were injured on Sunday afternoon in an Israeli artillery strike targeting the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to local medical sources, the two victims were killed and others wounded in an Israeli shelling of the Abed Rabbo area, east of Jabalia.
The latest fatalities bring up the number of Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli bombardments across Gaza over the past 24 hours to 48, according to medical sources.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 50,669 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 115,225 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
