GAZA, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) — Five Palestinians were killed and more than 20 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike last night in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering displaced families as well as a nearby house in the Al-Mawasi area. The attack resulted in the murder of five civilians and left over 20 others wounded, many of whom were seriously injured.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 50,669 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 115,225 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
