GAZA, April 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians were killed and several others were injured today in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians south of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of six Palestinians and injuries to others.

Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled Wadi Al-Arayes Street in the al-Zaitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, causing injuries to several residents.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 50,669 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 115,225 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
