GAZA, April 5, 2024 (WAFA) – Three citizens were killed and others were injured on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike targeting civilians in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City and a house northeast of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that an Israeli drone bombed a house belonging to the Shaat family in the town of Al-Nasr northeast of Rafah, killing Jabr Shaat and wounding others.

They added that a drone targeted a group of citizens in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, killing two citizens.

Israeli artillery also heavily shelled the town of Abasan al-Kabira east of Khan Yunis.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,609, and the number of wounded has risen to 115,063 since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
