GAZA, March 5, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll arising from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip surged to 50,251 people, medical sources said on Friday.

They announced that the death toll and the toll of casualties as a result of the Israeli genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip rose to 50,251 and 114,025 respectively.

They added that since Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on March 18, it has so forth killed 896 and injured 1,984 others.

They added that only within the last 24 hours, 43 bodies, including two bodies retrieved from the rubble, and 115 casualties were admitted to hospitals in the Strip.

Approximately 11,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Israel has resumed the genocidal aggression amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
