Israeli forces demolish three stores in northern West Bank town

JENIN, March 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Monday evening demolished three Palestinian-owned stores in Barta'a town, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to a local source.

Mayor of Barta'a, Ghassan Kabaha, said that the occupation forces barged their way into the southern entrance of the town and tore down three stores belonging to Hani Jabr, Mohammad Kabaha, and Shuqeir Hajja, reducing them to rubble.

He added that this was the second time for the occupying forces within two months to demolish Kabaha’s store, and noted that these stores provided means of livelihood for over 20 families.

He pointed out that in recent years, there has been a significant uptick in Israeli violations against the town, which requires an urgent intervention.
