NABLUS, March 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continue to tighten their military measures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, east of Nablus, according to local sources.
Sources reported that Israeli forces have intensified their procedures at the checkpoint, conducting thorough searches and identity checks on citizens. This led to severe traffic congestion, forcing hundreds of civilians, including children and the elderly observing the holy month of Ramadan, to break their fast at the checkpoint.
The checkpoint has been subjected to stringent military measures since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, causing ongoing hardship for the town of Beit Furik and the nearby village of Beit Dajan.
