Israeli airstrikes target with artillery shells several towns in southern Lebanon

RAMALLAH, March 22, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation army Saturday shelled several towns in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the occupation artillery fired three shells targeting the town of Khiyam, and other shells, in addition to firing on the towns of Houla, Markaba, and Kfar Kila.

In the Yahmor al-Shaqif area in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, the agency reported that the northwestern neighborhood was subjected to intermittent artillery shelling, while the shelling also affected the outskirts of the towns of Arnoun and Kfar Tibnit.

The agency indicated that the occupation army is conducting a large-scale combing operation using machine guns from the Hamames hill where it is stationed, amidst airstrikes over the eastern sector.
