JENIN, March 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Friday bulldozed the surrounding of the old cemetery and parts of al-Hadaf neighborhood in the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to local sources.
They said that bulldozers of the occupation forces ravaged the surrounding of the old cemetery and started embarked on the demolition of the al-Hadaf neighborhood, adjacent to the Jenin refugee camp.
The occupation forces have been waging aggression on the city and refugee camp of Jenin for 60 consecutive days, deploying additional reinforcements, displacing tens of thousands of residents from Jenin, Tulkarm, Nur Shams, and El-Far‘a camp and causing systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure and homes, aiming to permanently change the character of Palestinian cities and refugee camps.
The occupying forces have issued a notice of their intention to demolish 66 houses in Jenin camp within the next 24 hours. They have prevented displaced homeowners from returning to retrieve their belongings before their houses are demolished.
