JENIN, March 18, 2025 (WAFA) - The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 57th consecutive day, amidst the razing and burning of homes and the conversion of others into military barracks.
At dawn on Tuesday, occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin and took up positions in the German neighborhood and Wadi Ezzedine. A large force of occupation vehicles stormed Jenin camp on Monday morning, with military bulldozers continuing to widen roads in the camp's neighborhoods and pave other roads.
According to the Jenin Municipality, the occupation has displaced the residents of 3,200 homes in the camp, while Jenin's economy has witnessed a significant decline and the poverty rate among its residents has increased.
The streets of Jenin camp witnessed the movement of occupation tanks in the evening. Tanks patrolled Haifa Street and the camp's surroundings, while military reinforcements continued to arrive, accompanied by water tanks and armored vehicles.
Israeli occupation forces notified the evacuation of 120 dunams of land in the town of Jalboun, east of Jenin, and raided the home of Ghaleb Abu al-Rab, forcing him to evacuate it and turning it into a military barracks.
