NABLUS, March 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces intensified on Sunday evening their military measures at the Beit Furik checkpoint east of Nablus and the al-Muraba'ah checkpoint to the south, which also witnessed the presence of extremist colonists, according to local sources.

Sources reported that Israeli forces heightened their measures at the aforementioned checkpoints, conducting searches and identity checks on citizens. This led to a severe traffic jam, forcing citizens observing the holy month of Ramadan to break their fast at the checkpoint.

The city of Nablus continues to face the closure of several surrounding checkpoints, with Israeli forces continuing to prevent citizens from passing through the completely blocked main Huwara road since October 7, 2023.
