JERUSALEM, March 5, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces Wednesday demolished a house in the village of Rafat, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
They told WAFA that the occupation forces escorting a bulldozer stormed the village and surrounded the house of Hayel Issa Daifallah, a 58-year-old detainee, before the heavy machinery tore it down, reducing it to rubble.
They noted that the occupation forces attacked journalists at the scene, firing tear gas canisters directly at them to obstruct reporting of the demolition.
The heavily armed soldiers chased journalists, causing Yousef Shehadeh, a journalist, to sustain an injury in the head due to falling.
Daifallah was arrested after being shot by the occupation forces near the Givat Assaf colony, east of Ramallah, on September 11 of last year.
