RAMALLAH, March 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation army decided not to take any action against soldiers who expelled families from their homes in the village of Rantis, northwest of Ramallah.
The occupation army claimed that it would suffice with "reprimanding" the soldiers and emphasizing the instructions issued to the soldiers, according to the newspaper Haaretz on Tuesday.
The soldiers threatened six Palestinian families, over the past two weeks, to leave their homes and lands, which led to five families leaving, while the sixth family, which owns a farm in the area, remained in its home and land.
The expulsion of the families was carried out on the personal initiative of the soldiers who did not have the authority to do so.
