JENIN, March 2, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces are continuing their assault on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the 41st consecutive day, so far leaving 27 civilians killed and dozens injured.
The Israeli forces have maintained a complete blockade on the Jenin refugee camp since the beginning of the assault, preventing residents from reaching their homes. Heavy machinery, including bulldozers, remains stationed around the camp while additional military reinforcements have been deployed to the entrances of the camp.
On Saturday, the Israeli forces brought tanks into the camp's central square and brought in armored vehicles of the Eitan type along with D9 bulldozers.
Since the beginning of the assault, Israeli soldiers have turned several residential buildings into military outposts. The forces also destroyed the street leading to the Al-Asir Mosque in the camp.
The Israeli forces are systematically altering the landscape of the camp, so far demolishing a total of 120 homes completely and partially destroying dozens more.
The Israeli military also continues to prevent both local and international journalists from entering the camp to document the destruction and the daily violations against the residents.
