Israeli forces order halt on construction of three houses south of Hebron

HEBRON, February 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday ordered a halt on the construction of three Palestinian-owned houses in ad-Deirat village, on the outskirts of Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to an activist.

Osama Makhamra said that the occupying forces stormed the village and handed notices, ordering the stoppage of the construction of three houses; a 120-square-meter house belonging to Khaled al-‘Amur, a two-floor 300-square-meter house belonging to Mohammad al-‘Amur and a 200-square-meter house belonging to Mahmoud al-‘Amur.

He added that 18 members of the al-‘Amur family were already living in two of these houses.

He pointed out that the soldiers took photos of several other houses in the village whose owners had already received stop-construction orders.
