UN: Many difficulties in bringing humanitarian aid into Gaza

RAMALLAH, February 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations confirmed that there are "many difficulties" in bringing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

This came in a press conference by UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric last night, commenting on the death of 6 newborn babies in Gaza due to Israeli occupation restrictions on the entry of aid.

Dujarric pointed out that six infants lost their lives due to the severe cold in Gaza recently, bringing the number of children who died due to the cold to 15.

He confirmed that the occupation authorities imposed restrictions on the entry of aid, and said, "What I understood from our colleagues working in the humanitarian field is that there are many difficulties in bringing in a mobile home and tents. We are still continuing to bring in some of them, but we need more."
