Palestinian woman injured by Israeli forces’ bullets shrapnel during ongoing Israeli assault on Al-Far'a camp

TUBAS, February 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continue to raid the homes of Palestinians in Al-Far'a refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank, forcing more families to flee, in addition to destroying the contents of their homes.

The head of the Al-Far'a Camp Services Committee, Asem Mansour, told WAFA that the occupation forces have been storming since this morning the homes of citizens and force several families to flee, with the aim of turning their homes into military points.

He added that the occupation forces have been forcibly removing the doors of the homes since the morning hours, and blowing up the entrances to some of them, noting that a number of the owners of these homes had been forcibly displaced two days ago. During this, the forces are destroying and breaking the contents of the homes from the inside.

Mansour indicated that the occupation forces are still sending additional military reinforcements from the Al-Hamra checkpoint towards the camp.

He stressed that the humanitarian situation in the camp is worsening with the continued water outage for the ninth consecutive day, and the depletion of drinking water from homes, in addition to a severe shortage of food, medicines for patients, and baby milk.

He added that the aid allowed into the camp is not even enough for a small number of residents, noting that the occupation forces are preventing the entry of aid despite its availability in sufficient quantities.

In the meantime, a woman was injured by shrapnel during the ongoing Israeli military raid on Al-Far'a refugee camp, where soldiers stormed several homes.

Local sources reported that the 42-year-old woman was wounded when Israeli forces detonated the door of her house while raiding it.

Medical teams confirmed that they were able to reach the injured woman, who sustained shrapnel wounds to the head. Her condition was reported as stable, and she was transferred to Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital for further treatment.
