RAMALLAH, February 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) announced late on Friday that Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday as part of the fifth batch to be freed under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian prisoners today, including 111 detainees from the Gaza Strip who were detained after the onset of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The Commission and PPS published the names of the prisoners set to be released. The list includes prisoners of various ages and sentences.

The fourth batch of prisoners, which included eight prisoners who were exiled outside Palestine, was released on February 1st.
